My personal and community fiber artwork with the Cazimi Creative Collaborative incorporates my study of sociology, library science, design, alternative health, and astrology to examine societal norms, personal narrative, neuroaesthetic principles, and the human connection to natural and built environments.
With nature as a reference point for the transformations we face in our lived experience, my work expands personal narrative beyond the written word using weaving, felting, embroidery, and sewing, to externalize stories and create a fuller prism through which to consider what is true.
